Clogging Performance

Thank you to all that were able to make it! If you were not able to I hate you.... I'm just kidding! Here is one of the dances I'm in. Enjoy!

Dayton the Chocolate Hating Baby and Cheese

Tonight after my clogging recital we all went to Leatherby's. When we were wrapping it up Dayton seemed hungry still so Jonathan gave me a spoonful of hot fudge to feed to him. After it was in his mouth he made a disgusting face and shook his head. He hated it! A few minutes later we took this video of him.

When we got up to go I picked him up and said "Do you still love me after feeding you chocolate." He said "nooooo...." I asked him "Do you still love Jonathan?" He pointed to him and said "Jon Jon!"

Here are some other pics from Leatherby's!

Dayton says "CHEEEEEEEEEESE!"

Abbie's Cheese face!

Happy 3 Year Anniversary

I can't even believe it's been 3 years since I walked down the aisle. It's so crazy to think of everything that has happened. A deployment, Jonathan getting out of the Navy, Moving back to Utah, Jonathan starting school and then me joining him this semester. It hasn't been a piece of cake, no marriage is. But it has been great! We celebrated last weekend at the Anniversary Inn in the Lighthouse Suite. Here are some random pics of us over the years.

Here is a little update on whats been up lately. Jonathan and I started school on the 12th and have been BUSY BUSY BUSY. There has been a lot of Homework, Reading, Papers to write and driving to school everyday. We have been trying to carpool. Other than that Mom is home from Kuwait so we are making adjustments around the house because of that. Scentsy is going great as well! FYI they make cute valentines day gifts. Especially the new Sweetheart warmer. Way cute. www.scentsy.com/cremebrole

Sorry I needed my sales pitch.

Taylon is out of the NICU now. I will post some pictures of his last day in there soon. He is getting much stronger but still needs the oxygen. I'm happy he is finally home though and the kids have gotten to see him. I wonder what they think of their new brother?

We hope all is well with you all! Much love!

Leatherby's

These two KRAZY girls and I got to go to Leatherby's the other night with my dad. We had too much fun! Grandma Wendy had given them a dollar before we left and they ran to the jukebox and played "Love Story" by Taylor Swift just for me. How sweet! Before ice cream we all had a sandwich and cheese fries. Then I ordered a banana split, Ellie had playdough and Savannah had bubblegum. Yum yum!

Yup that is powdered sugar on their noses. The dishes of ice cream came with a couple of cookies. I hope these kids slept this night so loaded with sugar. If not I'm sorry Becky and Aaron!

Happy birthday Jonathan

Yesterday Jonathan turned 25 years old! Holy cow that's 1/4 of a century. The day before was my cousin Bob's birthday and we surprised Jonathan with his own cake. It was sooo yummy.

It was pretty funny last night we were watching the news and the reporters said "new scientific research shows that your brain starts shrinking at 25." He looked at me with a bit of concern.

For his birthday we had school but that night my mother took us to the Mayan for dinner. It was awesome! Those cliff divers are a must see and so brave!

I hope he had an awesome birthday. I love you honey! And I'll still love you when you are 125!

An Elwood Blessing

Today Becky and Aaron welcomed in their 5th little bundle of joy! Becky was having high blood pressure so they decided to induce her about 7 this morning. After about 6-7 hours of labor the nurse realized the doc didn't even break the water. So after they broke it he came out just an hour and a half later, Becky said about 4:30. We were worried all day because he was about 6 weeks early. Would you guys like to know his name?

Taylon Stephens Elwood. The newest Krazy Elwood! Right now he is in the NICU. We got to the hospital about 6:30 and unfortunately Dad and Nancy weren't able to go in because the nursery closes for the switchover of nurses and doctors till 8. Grandma Wendy was the first to go in. Aaron could only bring 1 of us in at a time due to the critical state of all the little babies in there. After Wendy was done I got to go in with Aaron next. We had to wash our hands really well, even tho we weren't going to hold him.

After a good hand washing I followed Aaron back to see little Taylon. The nurse was trying to get fluid out of his lungs from a small tube. He was just so small and innocent! He's been having trouble breathing and his little chest was moving up and down pretty quickly. For about 5 minutes or so the nurse went over visitation policies with Aaron and I. Every time I would take a picture he jumped a little like it scared him.

The hospital is saying they will probably have to keep him for 2-3 weeks. Since he was so early he should probably be monitored for his breathing.

It was kind of sad to see him with all those tubes and gadgets around him but after looking at him for a few minutes all you could see is a cute little boy just resting and getting ready for the life ahead of him.

What cute little feet! After a few pictures I figured he was probably startled enough from the camera noise so I put my hand on the 'baby cage' and said goodbye until next time to my precious little nephew. I went back to the room where Aaron's parents and sister were waiting. The kids and Becky were excited to see the pictures! Since it is the season to be sick the kids couldn't go back to see him so the pictures were all they got to see of their new baby brother.

Here are the happy sisters! Abbie was so cute! She is a little confused. When Becky told her that the baby wasn't in her belly anymore she asked "how did it get out?" Dayton is confused why mommy has a tube sticking in her hand. He wouldn't go to her so I think he was a little scared of the needle. He eventually warmed up.

Becky is doing well! They have given her some pain medicine and her blood pressure is still a little high but going down. She thinks she will be released on Sunday morning. For the respect of Becky I wont post the pics Jonathan took. She was eating at the time and putting food in her mouth.

And here is father of the year! He had a long day for sure attending to Becky and probably answering a million phone calls from everyone. He had the job of taking people back to see him.

What a blessing to have him here with us! He's a little early but we are happy to have him here. It's amazing to think earlier today he was up in heaven still getting ready for his journey here on earth. Welcome Taylon! We just met you but love you so much already!

Ok Ok Ok... So while we are blogging we have to brag about our new car. Today while Becky was in labor we went down to Lindon and got it. It's a Smart Car Passion. This is a picture of it sitting behind my car in the driveway. Gives you and idea of how small it is.

Yeah... We rock!

Happy Freaking New Year!

glitter-graphics.com

Goodbye 2008 and hello 2009! I still can't believe it's been another year. Seems like just yesterday Jonathan and I were saying I do and here we are almost 3 years later! Very crazy indeed.

Our resolutions are simple. Try to go another year with out killing each other (lol), get our schooling done with good grades, for me at least I would like to loose 25 lbs. (don't bother with the you're not fat Kimberly comments lol) it's for personal health and fitness reasons mostly. And probably our biggest resolution is to prepare to get sealed in the temple hopefully in September. Or maybe sooner if our bishop thinks we are ready.

We hope you all had a safe and wonderful New Year! We love you guys.
