Merry Christmas! We love this time of year... the food, the family, and remembering the true meaning of Christmas. We hope all is well with everyone and that 2011 (wow did I really just type 2011?) is super! We hope to see you all soon!

Hey! Where have you been?

I'm trying to get back into the swing of blogging. Just getting too distracted by Facebook. Well we went to Disneyland for Halloween and we took cute Ellie with us. She helps her mom out so much so we decided she deserved a good break! We had a lot of fun and a well deserved break from reality. It's always hard coming home from that!

A lot has happened over the last few months but we are really grateful for wonderful family and friends that help us along the way. We have amazing ferrets that never fail to make us smile and cute nieces and nephews that always brighten our days!

Right now we are getting ready for Christmas and we are excited to be able to spend time with our family.

We will miss you Grandpa Taylor!

Melvin M. Taylor 1935 ~ 2010 Melvin Midgley Taylor, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend, left this earth with honor, and was reunited with his beloved wife, on Sunday afternoon, September 26, 2010 at Salt Lake Regional Hospital. He bravely endured months of hospitalization, with the goal of returning to health and enjoying more years with his family. The tender care and dedication of the medical professionals involved in his stay is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. He often expressed his gratitude for their kindness and encouragement. Melvin was preceded in death by the love of his life, his dear wife Carol and is survived by his six daughters: Teri Jerman, Melissa Longton, Wendy Bradbury, Rebecca Lund, Jill Pitkin, Amber Russell; his 21 grandchildren and his 21 great grandchildren, also Mel's brother and sisters: Helen Richard, Myrna Lou Banks, Marilyn Lundberg, Don Taylor, Luann Putnam, Joyce White, Glen Taylor, Linda Duering and their spouses, all of whom he loved dearly. Melvin was a long time business owner and was appreciated for his excellent business skills, but more than that, he was loved and admired for his honesty, trustworthiness, hard work and respect for his fellow man. His decisions were always guided by these values. Mel's love of his wife and family were always evident. His family sees his life as a tribute to his Savior Jesus Christ. Melvin served in many church callings including several LDS missions, the most recent where he and his wife Carol, served, helping in the "Addiction Recovery Program". He will be truly missed but we know he was welcomed by a host of waiting loved ones.

I know I know it's been awhile... here is August!

Jonathan and I at Toby Keith

Hey guys! Things have been nuts around here! But I just wanted to post a little riddle for you.

Try drawing this envelope without retracing your path or lifting your pencil. This one took me to forever to figure out but I promise it can be done. Try it you will get so frustrated lol!

This month has been nuts! Jonthan's sister Becky was in the hospital for a couple of weeks and we got to take care of her children (she has 5 so we took 2-3 at a time) and that was a lot of fun!

Want something cute? This is where Jonathan and I had our first kiss... yes Lagoon parking lot in 2000. Thanks Ellie for taking this pic!

We miss little Ellie, Nana, Abbie Marie, Dayton Tiger (or Hudson), and Taylon. Thanks for the good few weeks!

This month we were suppose to go on a road trip to my cousins wedding. But since Becky got sick, we decided to stay and I just flew out to Milwaukee for a couple of days for the wedding and Jonathan stayed home with Becky.

As for Becky, she is a miracle! A true fighter! She is amazing. She went from the edge of death to walking, talking in just a matter of days. Her progress is amazing and we all love her so much! We are thankful to the good doctors and nurses who took care of Becky and espcially of Heavenly Father for answering so many prayers! Thank you all who helped in any way whether it was a prayer, or helping with kids or bringing meals to Aaron etc...

Unfortunately we spend several hours here for a few weeks.

Happy to still have our sister!

Here is a little something cute we taught Dayton, almost by accident... he is so darling!

As for Jonathan and I... we are now back to school! We are both at Westminster. Jonathan is computer science and I am Elementary Ed. We hope this semester brings many good things. We have been doing p90x and hope to have ripped bodies in the near future lol! Wish us luck! Love you all!!
