It seems as tho lately everyone around us is having kids!! Sisters, Cousins, and friends. And then of coarse there is a blog to write about them all. So it is time for me to write one about my little ones. My Ferrets and my puppy Taylor.
Our oldest is Taylor. His full name is *deep breath* Taylor Dustmop Pee Weeni Linguini Poo Poo Stinky Bradbury. He is a 3 year old Lhasa Apso. My mother and I wet to get a beta for my best friend Carrie's bridal shower at the pet store. I saw him and knew he was my puppy. 2 days later he was mine. I love him so much! He is got the sweetest personality. His favorite toy is Miss Teddy. We wont mention how he likes to play with her. He loves walks and his mommy and daddy. Jonathan has taught him lots of tricks. He is definitely our most well behaved kid. :-) Taylor lives with my mom right now tho because of Jonathan's Moms cats.
Next comes our little boy Scooter (our little Sku Bug). He is a 2 1/2 year old sable ferret. He loves to snuggle and be around mommy and daddy. One of his favorite activities is wrestling with is little sisters and stealing cat food. He is also the most potty trained! His favorite toy is the bouncy light up balls we got him from Disneyland. He will hiss at you if you try to take them away. He is a QT pie!
About 6 or months after Scooter we added Miss Priss (originally Snowball) to our little clan. I started to call her Miss Priss because she would bite on to something and not let go. One time she bit onto Jonathan's tongue and wouldn't let go. She was screaming, he was screaming. It was quite a scene! Needless to say the name stuck. She loves to torment Jonathan's moms cats (she ran into a mean cat once and the grudge stuck with her). The cats actually run from her. It's hilarious to see a 12 lb. animal run from a 1 lb. animal. She is a little antisocial from us but loves to groom her older brother and wrestle with her siblings. Her favorite activity tho would have to be stealing the soles out of our shoes. (Note to all who come to our house... don't take off your shoes unless you put them high. It's happened a few occasions.) Here is a picture of her as a baby.
Our baby is our little Tweek (I like to call her Tweeker Mcbeal). She is our most adorable ferret. When we got her she was super soft and has stayed that way. For awhile she was fat. It was pretty funny until we took her to the vet and they told us she was 100 grams overweight. She lost it tho and although she's smaller she is still a big love! She is our kisser of the group. She will lick your finger if you put it through the cage or she will even kiss your face (I think she mostly does it so you will put her down so she can continue to play). She is the funniest little thing to watch play. Her obsession is stuffed animals. Her and Missy will have a battle over where to hide the stuffed animals. One day I even saw them move one about 3 or 4 times. She gets scared the easiest too and will run as fast as she can (even backwards) to get away to the entertainment system or couch. She completed our little ferret family and we are glad we have 3 ferrets. It is the perfect balance.
With out our little ones life would not be the same. They continually bring smiles to our face. (Even when they poop just 2 inches away from the litter box). A new adventure everyday.
Until next time!

Mom's Home!
Yes Jonathan and I are still alive, just behind. My laptop crashed a few weeks ago so I haven't been able to post as much as I would have liked. But here is a few things new.
First off moms homecoming. Last Monday we all went to the airport to get her. We waited for what seemed to be a half hour or so in anticipation for her arrival. We finally saw the sign say her plane had arrived. So all the kids and Jonathan and I waited as close as we possibly could without the security guards hacking our heads off haha! Finally we saw some cami's come down the escalator. I was holding Dayton. "Look it's Grandma!" I said and pointed. I think he knew who she was because he pointed too. Finally she walked up close enough for the girls to all run up and give her a huge hug! I then set Dayton down who right away toddled up to her and gave her a sweet hug. I overheard a couple captains come out and say "You can't beat something as amazing as that! Welcome home." The whole waiting area was looking and saying how sweet it was. A couple even came up and personally thanked her for her service.
We are all thankful for the men and women serving our country and thankful to mom, who works so hard over in Kuwait and comes home and mows the lawn. She says there is no grass there and was thankful to have it and wanted to mow it. We are happy to have her for a couple of weeks and hope she makes it safely back to Kuwait and stays safe through her whole journey. Thank you Mom for your service! We love you!!
Here are some pictures Jonathan took (he isn't in any he wouldn't let me take a picture with him lol). It was taken on our new toy (bow chica wow wow).
